My cross dysciplinary approach allows research to be kinesthetic.

I want to develop ideas in clay about physical release. Dance inspired, the celebration of movement in making.

Inspired by Florence Peake, and her public commissions, how they break conventional use of surroundings, enviroments.

Florence has danced with scupltural forms and challenges the idea of what making is.

This really inspires me to realise my own perspective on environment, creative freedom, and exchange. The possibilities of stepping out of the norm, into another way of being.

= What I love most about creativity.

I would like to glaze my clay investigations  and develop a depth of image in especially crystalline glaze, perhaps with decal, or Sgraffito.

Also want to clarify use of clay bodies from my previous investigations, and understand the various potential uses.

I have many influences in clay work. I want to return to my first year influences from Camberwell in 2009, and use the notes from that year.

For my MA in Design at Bath, I propose making an instillation of vessels. Empty forms with surface depth and references to the dancing body of somatic enquiry. This maybe also balanced with relief work, perhaps tiled.

I am looking forward to a year of glaze testing, and investigating ideas, and developing my skills.
